Dreamy inspirations for a pastel destination wedding in Italy

On August 10th Ala and Amir said I do at Villa Le Fontanelle in front of 87 guests who traveled from Europe, Australia, and the Middle East to celebrate their love. Villa Le Fontalle offered beautiful locations for the ceremony and reception along with amazing views of the city of Florence. With the help of The Tuscan Wedding, the couple was able to plan the elegant destination wedding of their dream.

On the day of the wedding, Ala got ready with the help of her bridesmaids while Amir got ready with the groomsmen. Ala wore an elegant off the shoulder mermaid dress and white beaded pumps. The bride’s makeup and nails complemented the blush pink and white color palette for the wedding. Amir looked handsome in his black tuxedo. To add a personal touch, he wore cufflinks with the date of their wedding.

The ceremony was held outside at the Villa’s fortress. Amir waited for his beautiful bride, who walked down the aisle escorted by her dad while Andrea Bocelli sung Con te partirò. The couple exchanged vows under floral arch designed by Il Giardino delle Fate. After the romantic ceremony the newlyweds exited to Chris Brown’s Forever with big smiles on their faces and reached the Villa’s gardens where to enjoy the aperitif arranged by Galateo Ricevimenti. Guests enjoyed cocktails, finger foods, and a raw fish station. Meanwhile the newlyweds took advantage of golden hour to capture their first photos as husbands and wife.

When it was time for dinner The Tuscan Wedding directed guests to their seats on the terrace with a breathtaking view on the city of Florence. The dinner tables looked elegant white tablecloths, pink and white bouquets and pink candles under a sky of string lights arranged by Wedding Music and Lights to create the atmosphere of a typical Tuscan alfresco party. As dinner began the bride and groom along with some of their family gave speeches.

After the couple and their guests had dinner, they truly began to celebrate the union of Ala and Amir. All the guests together with the newlywed reached the roof terrace to assist to the live show of the pastry chef, who made the traditional Italian wedding cake, the Millefoglie, in front of them. The cut of the cake was really spectacular with the fireworks show arranged by Pirotecnica Soldi on the backdrop. Later in the evening guests were able to enjoy Italian ice cream when the Miss 500 Gelato car arrived. Guests also had fun taking pictures in the photobooth. As guests danced the night away in celebration of the newlyweds, they were served pizza. Their wedding was a romantic celebration of two people coming together as one and every moment of the wedding was truly spectacular.

Before the weekend was over guests enjoyed a farewell lunch at La Loggia. A farewell lunch is the perfect way to continue the celebration and enjoy time with your friends and family.
